Here is a quick but effective home remedy for that occasional pet oop’s on the carpet. Take plain white vinegar and pour it on the spot. You should completely saturate the urine spot. Next take some baking soda and pour it liberally on the surface of the vinegar. Do it in this order to eliminate the smoking volcano of the normal vinegar/baking soda trick. Let this set until it dries completely, (cover with a bowl if there is a chance that someone would walk through it before it dries). Once the carpet is completely dry, vacuum up the baking soda. The stain will be gone and deodorized.
