Removing wax from carpet can be fairly simple. It requires an iron, brown paper bag, and a clean rag.
First remove as much of the wax from the carpet as possible. Do Not pull on the fibers to remove any wax. Heat the iron to high temperature, no steam. Cut your brown paper bag into large wide strips. Place the clean rag to one side of the candle wax stain. Lay one edge of the paper bag over the wax stain and place the hot iron on the brown paper. As the wax melts and is absorbed into the brown paper draw the paper over the rag. The rag is used to make sure no melted wax gets back on the carpet. Continue to draw fresh paper under the iron until no more wax is transferred into the paper.
Do not let the hot iron touch your carpet fibers and do not let the brown paper soaked with hot wax touch your carpet.
