The New Chemistry
We have chemicals available today that attack urine and break it down chemically, this destroys the bacteria that feeds on the urine and eliminates the odors. This is many times not a low moisture application. When urine soaks your carpets it spreads through the backing and even into the pad. All of this urine must be addressed. In some applications we must resoak the carpets with the urine neutralizers then extract all of the moisture and allow the carpets to dry completely. When done properly this will usually eliminate the odors for good. We then thoroughly clean the carpet and the stains.

What If My Situation Is So Bad You Can't Help.....Then What?
In extreme situations the urine has soaked into the subfloor. The only way to correct the problem is pull up the carpet, replace the pad, clean and seal the subfloor with Kilz or similar primer sealer, completely wash and treat the carpet, then re-install.
